Illescas Green Logistics Park

Illescas Green Logistics Park is located within the Central Iberum Platform, Spain’s first eco-industrial park, integrated with the surrounding environment and designed for energy saving, research, and the application of new technologies to achieve maximum sustainability.

The project forms part of the second development phase of the Multimodal Central Iberum Platform, already fully operational, which is planned to become the first industrial logistics park to adopt carbon footprint offsetting measures with the goal of achieving Net-Zero Emissions.

Illescas Green Logistics Park is the first project within this platform to include BREEAM certified infrastructure.

Illescas Green Logistics Park  is located in the middle of the Iberian Peninsula, with easy access to the 6 high-capacity highways connecting Spain and Portugal.

This logistics park is being set up in the district of Illescas (Toledo), bordering with the Community of Madrid, just 36 km from Madrid city centre via the A-42 highway.

Park Surface

Access

The park has direct access from the A-42 highway and will be connected to the main road networks in the centre of the peninsula via the La Sagra highway (CM-41), which will link it directly to the A-5 highway (Extremadura and Lisbon), and the A-4 highway (Valencia and Andalucía).

Thanks to its central location, the park has direct access to all the rail corridors crossing Spain and Portugal.

Multimodality

DRY PORT

The creation of a new Dry Port within the park will serve to reduce the existing overcrowding at ports and provide direct rail connections.
